How to Winterize Your Bees- Understanding What Happens in Winter - Anne Fraser, EAS Master Beekeeper

Anne Fraser is an NVBA Club member since 2008 where she learned beekeeping from Pat and Jim Haskell and Dane Hannum. She keeps around 35 hives in Strasburg, Virginia and 1 in DC and sells bees, honey and hive products from her 200 year old Shenandoah Valley farm.

An EAS-Certified Master Beekeeper, she has taught the Beginning Beekeeping Program of the Virginia Beekeeping Teaching Consortium of which she is an officer, to Shenandoah County and Fairfax County beekeepers, along with other speaking engagements to local clubs including this one.            

Anne is the Director on the Board of the Eastern Apicultural Society for Virginia, designated by the Board of the Virginia State Beekeepers Association.

Anne is a recovering lawyer who enjoys the fierce competition of honey shows and sharing her knowledge of honey bees and beekeeping!
