Dr Dewey Caron began his career as an Entomologist, became a Professor at numerous Universities on both coasts and traveled overseas. Post retirement he moved to Oregon to be closer to the grand kids. Dewey stays active in EAS Master beekeeper program development here and out West organized WAS and is involved in Honey Bee Health Coalition.

His poplar hardcover book Honey Bee Biology and Beekeeping is on its third edition.
