NVBA Mtg - Sept 27, 2023 Jim Fraser - Everything Honey!!!

You've worked hard to take care of your bees and get a honey harvest, but how much do you know about honey? Jim Fraser will discuss everything about honey..Jim is a third generation Beekeeper and has kept bees in both Virginia Maryland and runs approximately 200 hives.

He is a EAS Master Bee Keeper, President Emeritus and current member of the Montgomery County Bee Club and President emeritus of the Maryland State Beekeepers Association and current member. Jim is a Maryland Certified Honey Judge, and organizer of the popular honey show at the Montgomery county MD Fair. Recently, his talents were requested as a honey and wax judge at the 2022 Pennsylvania Farm show.

Jim runs the Maryland Honey Company in the midst of the Agricultural reserve in Gaithersburg.
