NORTHERN VIRGINIA BEEKEEPERS ASSOCIATION
Class will be held 7:00pm - 9:00pm. This is an online, instructor led course which will cover beekeeping basics such as Honey Bee biology, beekeeping equipment, basic colony management, pests, apiary location and local laws. You will be prepared to order equipment and bees, get started beekeeping in spring and care for your bees through the first year. There will also be a in person workshop for wooden ware on Sat Jan 28th, a Meet your Mentor Session on Feb 25th and apiary session(s) in March/April which will be scheduled as weather permits.
Each Student must have their own Zoom.com account (free Zoom accounts are fine) registered to the same email address they used to enroll in the course..
